Herberg, Will

Herberg, Will
(1906-77)
   American writer. He was active in the Young Communist League and edited communist party publications. In the 1940s he renounced communism and developed Jewish interests. His writings include Judaism and Modern Man and Protestant, Catholic and Jew.
